M3 subway reconstruction

The metro line M3 connects the districts of Pest in the north-south direction, its various stations are located in completely different neighbourhoods. The environments of the three existing and one new station building on the surface are also completely different. Among the areas there are patinated downtown locations under transformation (Arany János street and Klinikák), older suburban residential area in South Pest (Pöttyös street) and a new suburban residential area in North Pest (Óceánárok street), however all existing stations have in common that the once transparent, clearly structured buildings have become slummificated and give a functionally chaotic impression.
